Academics

Jewell offers the distinctive Oxbridge Honors program, the only program in the United States offering a full curriculum of tutorial-based instruction in conjunction with a year of study in England. This highly personalized approach to education, with many opportunities for personal connections with faculty members, combines the British and American approaches to education. This writing-intensive program extends over all 4 years of college, with the junior year spent at either Oxford or Cambridge.

Athletics

William Jewell College's official mascot is the Cardinal. Its athletic teams compete in the Heart of America Conference of the NAIA.
