The Weltausstellung 1873 Wien was the large World exposition which was held in 1873 in the Austrian-hungarian capital of Vienna.
A lot of special buildings were erected for this exposition. The most famous were:
- the Rotunde, a large circular biulding in the great park of Prater , and
- the Riesenrad (giant wheel or Ferris wheel), an early predecessor of the London Eye, with a height of 65 meters.
