Walsall Football Club are an English football club which will play the 2004/05 season in Football League One, having been relegated from the First Division at the end of the 2003/2004 season.
Overview
Walsall were formed in 1888 when Walsall Town and Walsall Swifts amalgamated. They were first admitted to the Football League in 1892, as founder members of Division Two. They currently play at Bescot Stadium, where they have played since 1990. They are currently managed by player manager Paul Merson.
