W Juliet is about a school production of Romeo and Juliet. A 16 year-old tomboy named Ito Miura has been asked to be Romeo for the play, although she does not want the part. The part for Juliet is being contested for by two girls, Makoto Amano and the vain Tsugurumi. Tsugurumi is favored for the part, but Makoto Amano demonstrates that she can be a competent Juliet. However, if Tsugurumi discovers Makoto's secret, it can bring down both Ito and Makoto.
