- To list a page for deletion:
- Go to the page you want to delete and insert {{subst:vfd}} (not just {{vfd}}) at the top of that page.
- Come back to Wikipedia:Votes for deletion page and copy the following text:
- ====[[PageName]] -- [[/PageName|Add to this discussion]]====
- {{Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/PageName}}
- {{subst:VfD warning}}
- Edit this page and paste the text below the last heading.
- Replace PageName in each line with the name of the page that you are proposing for deletion.
- Save page.
- Follow the Add to this discussion link and write why, according to our deletion policy, the page should be deleted.
- Save your edit.
