The U.S. House election, 1886 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1886 which occurred in the middle of President Grover Cleveland's first term. As in many midterm elections, Cleveland's Democratic Party lost seats to the opposition Republican Party, although it retained a narrow majority.
