Train (disambiguation)

The word train from the Latin traho ("to draw or pull") means "that which is drawn along". (Wiktionary entry). Generally trains are a series of connected animals and/or vehicles that move together, usually along a planned route, which may or may not be constrained by a guideway.

These include:

• Most commonly it refers to a train on a rail transport system.
• A roller coaster train, or the specialized vehicle which transports riders around a roller coaster track.
• In animal-powered transport, a caravan may be referred to as a camel train (Australia and Middle East), or a mule-powered wagon train (USA)
• A road train is a similar modern development that utilises road vehicles to carry freight most commonly found in Australia.
• Also running on roads, a trackless train which looks like a train is often used for amusement.
• In clothing a train refers to the part of a some gowns that trail behind the wearer, for example a bridal train on a wedding dress
• A sperm train is a (slightly controversial) theory that sperm move together.
• Train is an American rock music group
