Tit

The word tit has several possible meanings:

• In biology, there are several birds named tit, including the titmice, long-tailed tits, bearded tit and penduline tits.

• Tit, a variant of teat, is a slang (one of the seven dirty words) term for breast or nipple. It is also a term of derision (especially in British English) connoting a silly or irritating person.

• In the Bible, Tit. is an abbreviation for the book Titus; a letter from Paul to the Apostle Titus.

• In mathematics Tits refers to Belgian mathematician Jacques Tits.

• TiT can also refer to a "Tranceaddict in Training", or someone who is most likely going to ask about Tiesto, how to download Trance music MP3's, or spam free I-Pods.

• Tit is also used in the name of the strategy called Tit for Tat.
