The Overcoat was written by Nikolai Gogol.
It is the story of a lonely man in Russia. His name is Akaky and works as a copier. His is given no respect from his co-workers because of his profession and old worn away clothes. Akaky saves up all his money to finally buy himself a new overcoat but it is stolen at an office party. Akaky dies of cold wandering the streets. Akaky's ghost lives on and steals peoples coats.
