The Common Good

The Common Good is a small British political party.

Founded and led by Rev. Dr. Richard (Dick) Rodgers , a clergyman living in Northfield, Birmingham, the party's principles are founded on his Christian faith. Essentially their only principle is this;

Tomorrow we'll be happier, living and working for each other's good and for the good of the world, that is, for "The Common Good".

The party contested the West Midlands region in the 2004 European Parliamentary Election, gaining 0.6% of the vote. In 2004, Dr Rodgers contested the Hartlepool by-election and received 0.3%.

The party intends to field candidates in the 2005 General Election.
