Thames Valley, New Zealand

The Thames Valley is a district in the North Island of New Zealand. It is located along the banks of the Waihou River, formerly known as the Thames River, to the south of the Firth of Thames, southeast of Auckland.

The area is considered part of the Waikato region for some administrative purposes, and part of the Thames-Coromandel region for others.

The region's principle industry is dairy farming, and its main towns are Paeroa and Te Aroha.
