Tamust means "the nation" in Tamajaq, the language of the Tuareg. Tamust or Temoust, is the sens of common identity for the millions of Kel Tamajaq , Tuareg. It is the word used to name the people, given the fact it emcompass all the groups, and chiefdoms. The main cement of Tamust, the Tuareg communnity is Tamajaq; their language and a particularly unifrom culture, traditons, customs mostly similar from region to region both in West-Africa and North-Africa part the Tuareg cultural community.
