Star Trek: Away Team is an isometric computer strategy game set in the fictional universe of Star Trek and focusing on commando-style combat. It was developed by Reflexive Entertainment and published by Activision in 2001 for Microsoft Windows platforms.
The names derives from the "away team", a group of individuals sent off their starship to conduct a mission. In the game, the player has seventeen types of specialists from which to compose a team for each of several missions. Game action consists of sneaking through various enemy installations trying to solve puzzles without being detected by guards or security systems.
