The term skins may apply in several areas:
- Traditionally speaking, skins refer to animal hides.
- In the area of computing, skins are design schemes applied on top of user interfaces. See skin (computing).
- In professional golf, the Skins Game is a major golf tournament.
- In ski touring, skins are used on the bottom of the skis to grip the snow.
- In hip-hop slang, skins means vagina. "Hitting skins" is having sex.
