Sio Bibble was governor of Naboo in the final years of the Galactic Republic. As governor he oversaw all matters brought to the Queen's attention. He also charied the Advisory Council , and dealed directly with regional representatives and town governing official in day-to-day administration.
When Naboo was blockated from the Trade Federation he was the first who asumed that an invasion would be made by federation forces. He stayed behind when Queen Amidala followed the Jedi knights Qui-Gon Jinn, and Obi Wan Kenobi to Coruscant to seek help in the Senate. He was tempted by Viceroy Nute Gunray be he remaind strong in his ideas of democracy and freedom. The Senate made Naboo senator Palpatine Chancellor, and the Queen returned to liberate her people with the help of the Gungans. After the Battle of Naboo he attended the celebration, and exchanged the globe of peace with the Gungans.
He remained in his office when Padme Amidala became Senator of Naboo. He showed his worries when an assassination on her life was tempted, and when it became clear that the Republic was on the brink of an civil war. The Republic fall in the Clone Wars but the idea of Freedom remained in the minds of people like Sio Bibble.
