The Shannara series, written by Terry Brooks, follows the lives of the Ohmsford (née Shannara) family.

The latest trilogy High Druid of Shannara focuses on Grianne Ohmsford and is set 20 years after The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara .
The prequel First King of Shannara is set during the lifetime of Jerle Shannara (who the airship is named after), an ancestor of Shea.
