Selling England by the Pound (1973) is the fifth album by the progressive rock band Genesis.

It followed Foxtrot and was the band's commercial peak with Peter Gabriel, hitting # 3 in the UK and it remains a prog rock classic. Songs such as "Firth of Fifth" and "The Cinema Show" are considered classics, and the shorter track "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)" became Genesis' first single to receive any sort of chart action. Many Genesis fans list this as their favourite of the band's Gabriel-era studio albums.
