The Scarlet Skier is a DC Comics supervillain/superhero. Created by Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMatteis during their comedy Justice League period, he first appeared in Justice League of America #36 (1990).
The Scarlet Skier is the herald for a cosmic being known as Mr. Nebula. He is a parody of the classic Marvel Comics character the Silver Surfer who is a herald for a cosmic being known as Galactus.
The Scarlet Skier was archenemies with G'nort, a comically incompetent Green Lantern. Later the Scarlet Skier became stranded on Earth and became friends with G'nort, reforming his evil ways and joining the Justice League Antarctica.
