Scalpay is an island in the Scottish Inner Hebrides separated from the east coast of Skye by Loch na Cairidh . Its highest point is Mullach na Carn at over 400 metres.
Scalpay is privately owned and run as a red deer farm. Much of Scalpay is covered with heather, while other areas are forestry plantations .
