Satoshi Kon

Satoshi Kon (今敏 Kon Satoshi, born 12 October 1963) is the young highly regarded director of anime films Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers. He is perhaps one of the greatest anime directors of the decade. His films are widely renowned for their psychlogical complexity and violent/controversial material as well as the realistic look/feel of backgrounds and characters.
