Sarah Douglas

Sarah Douglas (born December 12 1952) is an English actress, most notable for playing strong villainessess in 1980s science fiction movies.

Douglas was born in Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, and trained with the National Youth Theatre.

Examples of sci-fi villainesses she has played include:

• Deathwalker/Jha'Dur in the first season of Babylon 5 in the episode aptly named Deathwalker
• Ursa in Superman and Superman II
• Queen Taramis in Conan the Destroyer
