River Colne, Hertfordshire

The Colne is a river in England. It flows mainly through Hertfordshire though is also a boundary of Middlesex and Buckinghamshire (near Denham). It is a tributary of the River Thames.

The Colne rises near Colney Heath in Hertfordshire and through the Chiltern Hills. It divides into the Frays River , the Colne Brook and the Wraysbury River . It links to the River Pinn and in the South is the "Colne Brook"

The villages of Colnbrook near Slough and London Colney in Hertfordshire take their name from this river.
