Rayographs

A rayograph is a type of cameraless print, or photogram. It is a technique invented by the 20th century photographer Man Ray, who coined the term. A rayograph is created by placing a series of objects onto a sheet of photosensitive paper and exposing it to light [1]. The unmasked areas of the paper darken with exposure after processing. This technique when used by Man Ray capitalized on unexpected effects and unusual juxtapositions of identifiable objects [2].
