Phillip Whitehead (born 1937) is a Member of the European Parliament for the Labour Party for the East Midlands. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 1994. On 23 July, 2004 he was elected chair of the Parliamentary Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection.
He is chair of the European Parliamentary Labour Party and was member of parliament for Derby North from 1970 to 1983.
He is a former television producer.
