Philip VIII, Count of Paris

Louis-Philippe Robert d'Orléans, Comte de Paris (August 24, 1869 - March 28, 1926) was the son of Philip VII, Orleanist claimant to the throne of France. He was also the great-grandson of Louis Philippe I, King of the French.

The second Comte de Paris was born in Twickenham, England, where his family had been exiled since King Louis Philippe's abdication in 1848. Upon the death of his father in 1894, he assumed the title of Philip VIII, titular king of France. Two years later, he married Austrian archduchess Marie Dorothea (1867-1932).

The Comte de Paris died in Palermo in 1926.
