Patrick Roach (May 19, 1937- July 17, 2004) was a wrestler and actor from Birmingham, England. He was a tall (6'5") and broad-shouldered man weighing in at nearly 280 pounds. His most famous role is that of Bomber Busbridge in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
Before Pat broke into acting, he was a wrestler under the name of "Bomber" Roach. He was trained by Alf Kent and his first official wrestling match was against George Selko. While his acting career would be much more successful, Pat held both the British & European Heavyweight Wrestling Championships. He made his acting debut as the red bearded bouncer in the Korova Milkbar in Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange in 1971. He became a quick success as the warrior muscle-bound enforcer beside some of Hollywood's biggest actors.
