Pariah is a first-person shooter computer game developed by Digital Extremes, makers of the Unreal franchise. It is scheduled for release on May 3, 2005 for PC and Xbox. It uses a modified version of the Unreal engine coupled with the Havok physics engine. A PlayStation 2 version has also been announced but won't ship with the other versions.
The main character of the game is Jack Mason, a medic, who crash-lands on Earth in the year 2520 while transporting a patient with an unknown virus. Earth has since been abandoned and now is a prison planet.
The game will allow the player to upgrade their weapons and use a map editor for making their own levels.
