Orion is a fictional character, a superhero of the New Gods in the "Jack Kirby's Fourth World" meta-series in the DC Comics universe.
His natural father was Darkseid, while his adopted father was Highfather of the New Gods. He became a hero dedicated to the ideals of New Genesis despite his heritage, albeit a violence-prone and troubled one. To help him, he was equipped with a armed flying frame that travel through space at high speed. Furthermore, he was granted a mother box that can calm his temper and temporarily change his appearance to something more handsome than his parentage normally allows.
He eventually joined the JLA.
