Northern Dvina

The Northern Dvina (Се́верная Двина́) is a river in Northern Russia flowing into the Dvina Bay of the White Sea. The length is 462 miles. It is navigable all along and is heavily used for timber floating. It flows through Vologda Oblast and Arkhangelsk Oblast.

It should not be confused with Western Dvina.
