Meissa, also known as λ Orionis or Heka, is a star in the constellation Orion. Meissa is a spectral type O star and is part of the Collinder 69 star cluster. It is a magnitude 3.4 star and its names are from an Arabic maisan "sparkling" and haq’ah "white spot".
