Mark Anthony Buehrle (born March 23, 1979 in St. Charles, Missouri) is a left-handed starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who has played for the Chicago White Sox since 2000. He attended Jefferson Junior College in Jefferson, Missouri . He was named to the 2002 American League All-Star team, and posted a 19-12 record that season.
