Marcos Carvajal [car-va-HAL] (born August 19, 1984, in Bolívar, Venezuela) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who plays for the Colorado Rockies. Carvajal bats and throws right handed. He made his major league debut on April 6, 2005.

A highly touted prospect in the Dodgers and Brewers minor systems, Carvajal was picked up by the Rockies in the Rule 5 draft in December 2004. Then, in the 2005 spring training he posted a 1-0 record with a 4.97 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 12.2 innings. He was included in the 25-Man roster.
