Malir is a district in the east of the city of Karachi. It has a growing population of peoples from multiethnic backgrounds: there are a total of 900 000 people in the district. It has lots of gardens. The trees are of date palms and other fruit trees. Peoples relocate from the city center of Karachi to East of Karachi - Malir - because it has less air pollution and the density of population is much less than other towns of Karachi. Malir is well connected to other towns by roads, railroads and the national Highway which connects it to the rest of Pakistan. Karachi International Airport is within half an hour's drive away provided the traffic does not get congested.
