Malatya is a city in south-eastern Turkey, and the capital of
Malatya Province . It is also known by its older name of Malatia. An even older name (of the ancient Hittite city) was Milid (today's Aslantepe).
Malatya is the home of İnönü Üniversitesi
It has a population of 381,081.
