In the Harry Potter series of novels, magizoology is the study of magical creatures. (The word magizoology is obviously a contraction of magical and zoology.) One who studies magizoology is known as a magizoologist. Newt Scamander, author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is a fictional magizoologist in the series.
