Luehesand is a 1.24 square kilometre large island in the river Elbe southeastly from Stade. On the island Luehesand which can be reached only by ship there is a large camping site, on which many continuous campers stay.
On the Elbinsel Luehesand also the enormous pylons of the Elbe crossing 1 and 2 stand.
