Leslie Cornelius Arends (1895 - 1985) was a Republican politician from Illinois. He served as the House minority whip between 1943 and 1947, from 1949 until 1953, and finally between 1955 and 1975. He also served as the House majority whip from 1947 until 1949, again between 1953 and 1955.
