Latrobe City (formerly La Trobe Shire) is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the eastern part of the state. It includes the towns of Churchill, Moe, Morwell and Traralgon. It has an area of 1,395 square kilometres. In 2001 it had a population of 70,600.
The Head Offices for Latrobe City are currently in Traralgon, although there are new offices currently being built in Morwell, which is located in the middle of Latrobe City geographically.
