Kumonga was a giant spider which appeared in several films in the Godzilla series. In the film Son of Godzilla, he was a spider mutated by a radioactive storm on Solgell Island and menaced Godzilla and Minya. In Godzilla: Final Wars he is one of 10 monsters that ravages the world at once and attacks some trailer parks in the Arizona Desert and later in the film fights Godzilla in New Guinea.
In the dubbed versions of the films, Kumonga is known as Spiga.
