Kingdom of Chu

King of Chu was the title used by several rebellion leaders during the collapse of Qin Dynasty. Using the old Warring State name of Chu, these Kings claimed to be the rightful ruler of the old Chu territory (Nowaday provinces of Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui and Jiangsu). One of them, Xin, King Huai of Chu was really a descendent of the royal family of Chu.

Kingdom of Chu was one of the 18 Kingdoms.

• Chen She, King Yin of Chu, also called King of Rising Chu, (209 BC)
• Jing Ju, King of Chu , (208 BC)
• Xin, King Huai of Chu , later Emperor Yi of Chu (208 BC-206 BC ) (became Emperor in 206 BC)
• Xiang Yu, King Ba of Chu, (206 BC-202 BC)
