Kevin Earl Federline (born 21 March 1978) is an American dancer. On the night of September 18, 2004, he married Britney Spears in a non-denominational surprise ceremony at a private home in Studio City, California before 20-30 guests. Britney reportedly had to pay for her five-carat engagement ring, and initially refused to have Federline sign a prenuptial agreement, although later he did sign one. Federline has two small children with actress Shar Jackson. He began to date Britney Spears during Shar's second pregnancy.
