Kariya (刈谷市; -shi) is a city located in Aichi, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 136,840 and the density of 2,712.39 persons per km². The total area is 50.45 km².
The city was founded on April 1, 1950.
Kariya is twinned with Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
