Julian Scherner was a Nazi Party official who served in the Schutzstaffel (S.S.) as an SS-Oberführer. In 1943, he served as the SS and Police Leader of Krakow, Poland. He was immortalized in the film Schindler's List where his character was played by German born actor Andrzej Seweryn.
