Hon. Jim Karyigannis P.C., born May 2, 1955 in Athens, Greece, is a Canadian Liberal politician. He is a Member of Parliament in the Canadian House of Commons for Scarborough—Agincourt , an electoral district in the eastern part of Toronto, Ontario. Mr Karyigiannis is parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Transport and former parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Transport with special emphasis on Transport and Environment.
Before entering politics, Mr. Karygiannis was a businessman and industrial engineer. He immigrated to Canada in 1966. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto. He also holds a degree of Fellowship of Business Administration from the Canadian School of Management.
