Jesús Arellano

José de Jesús Arellano Alcocer (born May 8, 1973 in Monterrey, Nuevo León), also known as the "Cabrito", is a Mexican football midfielder, who currently plays for CF Monterrey of the Primera División de México.

Arellano has played most of his career at Monterrey. After making his debut with the club in the 1993-94 season, he was transferred to Chivas de Guadalajara for the 1998 Spring season; he lasted there under two years, however, and returned to Monterrey for the 2000 Spring season, where he still plays today.

Arellano has had a significant role for the Mexican national team for much of the last decade. Arellano debuted for Mexico February 7, 1996 in a game against Chile. After making several appearances as a substitute for the Tricolores in the 1998 World Cup, Arellano started three games in the 2002 World Cup. In total, he has made more than 40 appearances for the team.
