Jamie Spears)
Jamie Lynn Spears (born April 4, 1991) is an American actress from Kentwood, Louisiana.
Spears appeared in 2001's Totally Britney Live and in a Pepsi television commercial in 2002; that same year, she played "young Lucy" in Crossroads, which starred her older sister, pop singer Britney Spears. Her mother is Lynne Spears.
Jamie currently has a supporting role on the television program All That, which she obtained by publicly stating her desire to be on the show in an interview; some people feel that she got the role through nepotism. After getting phone calls from Don Swayze and Chris Penn, she no longer felt guilty about getting the role on the show.
She also stars in a new show on Nickelodeon called Zoey 101, in which girls try to change the traditions of an all-male boarding school. Zoey 101 drew record numbers with the premiere of the show, which gave the kids channel 1.6 million viewers age 9-14, its biggest viewership in the demographic for a premiere in eight years. For Zoey 101, Jamie Lynn sings the theme song, Follow Me, written by her older sister, Britney. In 2005, she appeared on the cover of two Seventeen magazines; in interviews she noted that, though she admires Britney for working so hard, she wants to make her own way. Her favorite sports include gymnastics, dancing, cheerleading, softball, and basketball. Her other hobbies include acting and singing. Her role models are Britney and her mother, and her favorite things to do with her family are talking and going out to eat. She currently attends Parklane Academy, which is located in McComb, Mississippi. She is in the eighth grade.
