The Human Bomb is a minor Quality Comics, now DC Comics superhero.
He was originally a scientist who developed a special explosive chemical. However when spies invaded his lab, he resorted to ingesting the chemical to prevent from being stolen. As a result, his body gained the ability to cause explosions in any object he gets into physical contact with. The only way to control it is to wear a special containment suit at all times except when he wants to use his power.
The character is a member of a minor superhero team, The Freedom Fighters.
