Hopes and Fears is the debut album of Keane, first released in 2004. It topped the UK album charts in 2004, and has since gone double platinum. It returned to the top of the charts after winning a Brit Award for Best Album in February 2005.
It includes the singles "Somewhere Only We Know" (#3), "Everybody's Changing" (#4), "Bedshaped" (#10) and "This Is The Last Time" (#18).
The objects on the cover of Hopes and Fears are piano hammers. In addition, different regions have different coloured covers. UK has green, US has white (as shown), international has a red-brown scheme and Japan has blue.
