Homer Ranford Watson (January 14, 1855 – May 30, 1936) is a Canadian landscape painter born in 1855 in the village of Doon (now part of Kitchener), Ontario. He died there in 1936, and although he traveled the world, it was most importantly Doon and the nearby Grand River that he painted. When Oscar Wilde was touring Canada he dubbed Homer Watson the "Constable of Canada", comparing him to the great English landscape artist because of similar subject matter and style.
He served for a time as president of the Royal Canadian Academy .
