(Redirected from
Hindu Mahasabha)
Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha was a Hindu nationalist organization originally founded in 1915 to counter the Muslim League and the secular Indian National Congress.
In 1925, a section led by K.B. Hedgewar split from the Hindu Mahasabha and formed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
Hindu Mahasabha later merged with Bharatiya Jana Sangh. One group has, however, retained the name ABHM, and still functions as a separate political party.
